About CompressKaro

A leap forward in client-side document processing.

The Zero-Server Revolution

CompressKaro was founded on a simple insight: **your private files belong on your local device, not in the cloud.**

Every day, millions of students, job applicants, and professionals upload highly confidential personal documents—such as passport images, Aadhaar cards, resumes, and corporate contract sheets—to server-side compression sites. We saw this as a massive, systematic security risk that modern web standards could completely eliminate.

🛡️

Privacy-First Engineering

By leveraging advanced client-side browser APIs, Web Workers, Offscreen Canvas buffers, and compiled PDF libraries, we bypass remote servers entirely. Files stay locked inside your browser sandbox.

Edge-First Performance

No upload queues, no network latency, and no data limits. Processing occurs at the speed of your device's native CPU and hardware threads. It even runs completely offline.

How It Works under the Hood

CompressKaro utilizes standard, modern browser APIs to process your files securely and instantly without external cloud server reliance:

  • Client-Side Processing: We compile high-performance formatting and resizing scripts that run entirely inside your browser's private tab memory.
  • Background Thread Isolation: Heavy document parsing processes are offloaded to background threads. This keeps your main page completely interactive, responsive, and smooth on both mobile devices and laptops.
  • Local In-Memory Purging: Once your target file is downloaded or you close the browser tab, all allocated local memory buffer spaces are completely wiped, ensuring zero trace of your documents remains.
